Boutique consultancy

Bring us the problem.
We’ll build the intervention around it.

A boutique consultancy for companies that have outgrown the way they were built. We work out what is actually constraining the business, design the intervention, and assemble the senior expertise required to deliver it.

What this usually looks like

Every function hits its number. The company still feels slow.

The people are competent and the work is getting done, so effort is not the constraint. What is missing is ownership of the places where the functions meet, and that is exactly where the important work waits. See the full picture →

Founder dependency

Decisions keep coming back to the same few people

Two or three people unblock everything. That is fast, until it becomes the ceiling on how quickly the company can move. Read more →

Execution

The strategy is agreed. The work moves at the wrong speed.

Priorities compete, handoffs stall, and the roadmap slips without anyone deciding to let it slip. Read more →

Growth

Every team owns part of growth. Nobody owns growth.

Marketing, sales and product each hit their number while acquisition, conversion and retention never work as one system. Read more →

Transformation

The change is agreed. The ownership isn’t.

Everyone supports the new direction, but nobody holds the mandate, the bandwidth and the cross-functional reach to land it. Read more →

The agency kept growing and Mavi has been with me through processes, organization, and how to handle tricky situations. No one ever taught me to lead an agency. She was one of the people who did.

Alejandro Rajman CEO & Founder · Zlatan Advertising

Mavi brings both the human and the operational side. Every meeting is a flood of tools and action items that, once you run them, genuinely improve how the agency works.

Esteban & Sergio Di Stilio Founders · Lop

I hired her over a single line I read on her LinkedIn. From the first call her confidence and experience won me over. For clarity and untangling problems, she's extraordinary. Hire her and you won't regret it.

Lara Caride Co-Founder · Gali Digital

A mix of two things that matter: coaching that guides you to find your own answers, plus the technical knowledge and lived experience of a coach who can spot the pros and cons in what the team proposes.

Not an outside consultant

An operator who scaled from the inside.

I don't hand you a deck and walk away. I embed like a right hand, find where the business still runs through you, and design the system that takes it off your back.

And I coach as I build. Scaling was never more hours and more meetings. It's founders and teams who think critically, strategically, in systems, and can make the call without you in the room.

The full story

My method didn't come from a textbook. It came from almost two decades orchestrating growth in tech and digital marketing, where efficiency wasn't a nice-to-have. It was survival.

As an operator, I embed and stay accountable for the intervention and how it is delivered. I install the operating system and don't leave until the team owns it. The part most people skip is the one I care about most: adoption. A framework only counts if it's still running long after I've gone, living in how the team works, not in a doc nobody opens.

As a coach, I work on what sits under the process: how founders and leaders think. Critical, strategic, systemic, with a data-oriented mindset. A business scales when its people can hold the whole system in their head and decide on evidence, not when the diary fills with meetings that route back to you.

That's BYOND/HEROIC: the operating system, and the thinking behind it, built so the business runs without the hero. Today I run it as your fractional COO / chief of staff. As it grows, the same standard reaches every function, through operators I'd trust with my own clients.

Based between Mendoza, Buenos Aires and Valencia. Working with founders worldwide.

How we work

We work out what is actually wrong before anyone designs the fix.

Diagnose

Find the constraint

What you bring us is the symptom you can see. We spend time inside the business separating that from the operating problem underneath it.

This step, available on its own.

The Audit · two weeks · EUR 1,500 →

Design

Set out the intervention

What changes, who owns it, how you will know it worked and what it costs, in writing. You decide before anything starts.

Deliver

Lead it, then hand it over

We assemble the senior expertise the intervention needs and lead the agreed scope. Capability and ownership stay inside the company when we leave.

We own the intervention and its delivery. You still own the business: the decisions, the sponsorship, the approvals and the adoption. A good intervention reduces dependency rather than creating a new one. How we work in detail →

Who does the work

The right senior expertise, selected around the problem.

We do not carry a fixed bench, so there is nobody we need to keep busy. The expertise on an engagement is chosen because the problem calls for it. Some engagements are one senior operator, others need several, and we say which one it is before you commit. The team can change. The accountability does not. About the network →

Where this starts

Most engagements start with a conversation, not a package.

Tell us what is stuck and we will tell you whether we are the right people for it. If we are not, we will say so. Engagements are scoped around what the diagnosis finds, and set out in a written proposal before anything starts.

Where dependency on a handful of people is clearly central to the problem, the Audit is a defined starting point. It is not the first step for every engagement. Tell us what’s stuck →

Questions

The questions we usually get before the first call.

Do you work as fractional leadership?

Not as the commercial model. You hire BYOND/HEROIC around a defined business problem, objective and scope, not to occupy part of a role for a set number of hours. Some engagements require us to work very closely with the team for several months; others are much more focused. The level of embedding is determined by the problem, not sold as the product.

What does an engagement cost?

The fee depends on the problem, scope, expertise required and depth of implementation. We define the scope, fee, responsibilities and success measures in a written proposal before the engagement starts. The Audit is the one offer with a fixed public price: a two-week diagnostic engagement around one defined business problem.

How is this different from hiring a consultant?

We do not stop at the recommendation. We design the intervention and lead the agreed delivery, and the engagement is built from the start toward an exit: who owns the work internally, what capability has to exist before we leave, which processes and decision frameworks remain. We lead the intervention, but the business decisions remain yours. A good intervention reduces dependency rather than creating a new one.

When is a company ready for this?

When growth has outpaced the way the company operates. The signs are consistent: decisions keep travelling upward, teams are busy while the important work waits, hiring adds coordination rather than capacity, and ownership blurs wherever functions meet. You do not need to be in crisis. These problems often become visible precisely because the company has already grown.

How long does an engagement last?

It depends on the problem and the depth of implementation required. Some interventions are focused and relatively short; others involve working closely with the team for several months. The expected duration and cadence are defined before you commit. Every engagement also has exit criteria: what needs to be working internally for BYOND/HEROIC to no longer be necessary.

What happens in the Audit?

A two-week diagnostic engagement around one business problem. Structured evidence, a 90-minute diagnostic session, senior analysis, a written Diagnostic Brief and a final readout. You keep the Brief either way.
